ABOUT
CityLight Outreach is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving our displaced neighbors in Pleasantville and Atlantic City, NJ. As an all-volunteer-staffed, donation-driven ministry, we equip and empower the body of Christ to reach those in need through the hope of the gospel.
We serve our community in tangible ways, offering hot meals, clothing, showers, haircuts, and more. Our mission is not only to provide for physical needs but to share the love of Christ with those we serve, offering both immediate relief and long-term hope.
Our Services
In 2023, we were blessed to expand our outreach by opening the CityLight Center in Pleasantville, NJ, a central hub where we provide:
-
Hot meals (Breakfast and Lunch served weekly)
-
Showers for those in need
-
Clothing, including socks, shoes, jackets, and more
-
Haircuts for men, women, and children
Additionally, our Food Truck Ministry travels through Pleasantville and Atlantic City, bringing meals directly to those who need them most.
The Need
New Jersey is one of only three states where poverty has increased significantly each year. Many individuals and families in our community struggle to meet their most basic needs.
We believe that by sharing extra resources—such as canned food, gently used clothing, blankets, shoes, and more—we can help meet the immediate needs of those who lack the means to obtain these essentials. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
How You Can Help
As a nonprofit, CityLight Outreach relies entirely on the generosity of our community. We are always in need of donations and volunteers to support our mission. If you or your family, friends, small group, business, or church would like to partner with us, there are many ways to get involved:
-
Donate items such as clothing, food, and supplies
-
Volunteer to help serve meals, assist at the CityLight Center, or help with special projects
-
Partner with us by organizing drives or fundraising events
We can arrange pick-up for donated items and will ensure that your contributions go directly to those in need.

Mission Statement:
“A City That Shares. A Community That Serves.”

Mandate:
Acts 4:32-34: “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.”
