ABOUT

ABOUT

CityLight has been serving the homeless in Atlantic County, NJ for over 10 years. CityLight Outreach is a project of Ignite Youth Ministries, a non-profit 501c3 organization. Part of CityLight’s work is utilizing a mobile food truck to serve food to those in need, free of charge. We also gather donations of clothing and household items to try and meet the needs of those in our community.

The City Light trailer unit was previously a mobile diner, now customized into a mobile rapid response ministry outreach tool. This unit gives us the opportunity to serve hot food and provide for those in need. But more so than just serving them food, we serve a message of hope through God’s word.

Our main objective with City Light is to live out Acts 4:32 which says: "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions were their own, but they shared everything they had."

If we could gather our extra resources (canned foods, gently used clothes, blankets, old shoes, etc.) from people like you, we could be lights in the midst of darkness, meeting the tangible needs of those around us. This is a non-for-profit collaboration and we need your support in this endeavor. This is a great opportunity for you, your family, your Bible study, friends, and your church to get more involved in YOUR local community.

Mission Statement:
“A City That Shares. A Community That Serves.”

Mandate:
Acts 4:32-34:
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.”
