The City Light trailer unit was previously a mobile diner, now customized into a mobile rapid response ministry outreach tool. This unit gives us the opportunity to serve hot food and provide needs to the poor and homeless. But more so than just serving them food, we serve a message of hope through God’s word.
Our main objective with City Light is to live out Acts 4:32 which says: “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions were their own, but they shared everything they had.”
If we could gather our extra resources (canned foods, gently used clothes, blankets, old shoes, etc.) from people like you, we could be lights in the midst of darkness, meeting the tangible needs of those around us. This is a-non-for profit collaboration and we need your support in this endeavor. This is a great opportunity for you, your family, your Bible study, friends, and church to get more involved in YOUR local community.
When we discover the needs in people’s lives, we go to work to actually help meet those needs. We will connect these requests to your church to try and meet the needs requested. This kind of helping hand can literally transform someone’s future and can many times make the difference between life and death. We have seen men and women totally turn their lives around because someone they met through City Light took the time to care.
“A City That Shares. A Community That Serves.”
Acts 4:32-34: “32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them.”
